Jen Horsey

Senior Writer

Jen Horsey has worked for 20 years in media and communications as a writer, broadcaster, and brand marketing consultant.

Her specialty is in action motorsport. She was one of the founders of Global Rallycross in the United States, worked as the first-ever female motorsport analyst in ESPN history, and has led sponsorship and marketing for a leading Formula Drift team for more than a decade. She has also ventured into the tech industry, and in 2018 was a leader on the team that ran the first-ever fully autonomous run up the hill at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

She began racing cars after a career in print media that earned her bylines around the world for top outlets including the Globe and Mail, New York Times, Macleans Magazine and Canadian Geographic. She started competing as a grassroots driver in stage rally events near her hometown of Toronto, and then graduated to top-level rally co-driving throughout Canada, the USA, and New Zealand. Although she still races occasionally, she graduated from active competition in 2011 when she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time career in motorsport marketing and communications.
