The Social Media Specialist is someone who crafts compelling stories, brings exceptional social content to market, and drives meaningful engagement with the audiences that matter most to our clients.

Key responsibilities:
  • Execute on social media strategies and campaigns, by creating compelling content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn;
  • Ideate and create unique, engaging, and creative content that deepens ours and our client’s branded social storytelling;
  • Execute community management of social channels including outreach to various partners while responding to messages, inquires, reviews, and comments promptly;
  • Analyze and report on KPIs for social media efforts, drawing insights and making recommendations derived from content performance and data analysis;
  • Maintain a current and broad knowledge of our client’s businesses, their competition, and industry/category best practices;
  • Act as an advocate for the client’s brand, ensuring brand consistency across all projects, platforms, and communications;
  • Stay current and educate the team on social media changes and trends;
  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including clients, internal teams, and external partners;
  • Look at things from a multitude of lenses and POVs and seek to understand what clients/fans/followers expect, want, and need;
  • Assist Vice President, Account Directors and Account Supervisors, and other members of the Integrated Team on internal and external business, as required;
What we are looking for:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Business or Digital Communications (or similar) is preferred;
  • 2-3 years of prior experience in social media marketing or content development;
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools such as Figma, Canva, and Capcut;
  • Knowledge of best practices for Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X;
  • Proven ability to craft engaging content, optimizing it for each client’s brand on an ongoing basis;
  • Ability to use social network planning and scheduling tools to manage campaigns (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, LinkTree, etc.);
  • Strong copywriting, copy-editing and communication skills;
  • High proficiency in all MS Office programs (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to work with Apple technology and products;
  • Aptitude for research, discovery, and exploration into and around a client’s/brand’s business to provide strategic insights and observations;
Bonus Skills:
  • Bilingual with French as a second language;
  • Prior experience in automotive as well as a passion for cars and motorcycles.
